A few of my nephews. I just got back from celebrating my nephew, Uriah’s, first birthday party. So most of these are of him. My four year old nephew, Colton, doesn’t hold still much and we just ran out of time. So here’s one of Colton and I, and then a few of Riah on the day of his birthday party. Love these boys more than words could say.

This Photo is my first entry into the I Heart Faces photo challenge. This week theme is Pets. This beautiful boy, Jasper, belongs to my good friend Julie. He’s a sweetheart of a cat.

I had the awesome opportunity to spend the day out at Blackhawk stables this past weekend. It was chilly (30 degrees) but sunny and overall an awesome day. I helped around the barn a little, rode and took some pictures. I’m looking forward to spending some time out there again soon!
My great friend Lisa gave me tickets to this hockey game and I figured out they let me bring my camera…so this was my first attempt at photographing a hockey game. I thought they turned out pretty good considering where our seats were. Go Jackets! They even won!
I took my annual fall trip to Washington for my birthday and to see my family. It was great as always. My nephew is at such a fun age and a total cutie. Love him! This post is mostly pictures of him and a few of a mountain on my way home (not sure which one it is, but it’s pretty right?)

While I was in Oklahoma last weekend for the 4th of July, my “sis” and I went down to the river to do some more pictures of her. We had a ton of fun and the light was gorgeous, and of course so was she. 
the last picture is me after I fell in the water trying to not get wet. LOL
Last month on my way home from photographing the DeRosa kids, I noticed what a gorgeous sky there was. Once I got home, I decided to take a walk around my neighborhood to take advantage of the nice weather and photograph some of the flowers. This was the result. (and of course one of my dog for good measure. )
Welcome to 2010!! This was a fabulous New Year. I met some of my favorite girls in Indianapolis to hang out and ring in the new year. We stayed at the Crown Plaza in downtown Indy, which if you’ve never been is a super fun hotel. It is set in the old Indy Union Station. They have redone a few trains and created hotel rooms in them, we didn’t stay in one of these rooms but had a ton of fun playing around the cars and taking pictures. To also explain, they have white statues all throughout the hotel to signify the people that would have traveled along the route. We hung out, laughed constantly and explored the city. It was a great time had by all.
So I’ve also recently ventured into a new line of business with my friend Mindy. We are making handmade crocheted hats in all different colors and sizes. It’s been a ton of fun and we’ve gotten some great feedback. Currently we are gearing up for our first craft show next weekend. I went out to Washington again this fall to spend my birthday week with my family. We had a great time and were busy every day. Monday we went up Mt. Rainier. It was gorgeous weather and a great time with my brother, nephew, mom and her bf. Unfortunately since we were so busy, I didn’t get a chance to do a full session with any of the kids, so I’ve included the couple pictures I got of Colton & Alexa, and the group of kids with this bunch.
